Gingerbread Men
Original Video Tutorial HERE.
It’s December, which means Christmas! There is no easier way to make your home feel and smell like Christmas other than baking Gingerbread Men. This Gingerbread dough is my go to recipe every year. You can use the dough to make gingerbread men, gingerbread women, gingerbread trees, gingerbread houses, gingerbread stars… and the list goes on.
One of my favourite Christmas memories is when my niece and I made this dough and decorated Gingerbread Families together. I remember we had so much fun and her imagination really made me laugh!
This recipe is easy to whip up and can be frozen for later. Who says you can only eat Gingerbread at Christmas?

These Strawberry Champagne Scones take that classic elegance and turn it into a treat that is perfectly sweet, simple, and surprisingly easy to whip up. - Gingerbread CupcakesMy favourite thing to bake for Christmas is Gingerbread. Gingerbread to me is Christmas. So to mix it up a little, I have made Mini Gingerbread Cupcakes topped with a gingerbread star of course! Not only do these little ones look the part, they taste and smell like Christmas. - Strawberry Daiquiri TartThis Strawberry Daiquiri Tart is basically a holiday in dessert form. Inspired by the classic cocktail, it starts with a buttery, golden Butternut Snap base, then gets filled with the creamiest strawberry filling, spiked with just enough rum and fresh lime juice to give it that signature daiquiri zing. The final touch? A light sprinkle of mint sugar that makes every bite feel fresh, bright, and a little bit fancy. It’s sweet, tangy, and perfectly balanced. Like sipping a strawberry daiquiri, but with a fork instead. Whether you’re serving it up at a dinner party, celebrating something special, or just leaning into your dessert-for-fun era, this tart is guaranteed to steal the show. NOTE: Skip the rum if this tart is for the little ones.
- Quick Chunky Choc Chip CookiesThere’s nothing quite like a classic choc chip cookie, and this quick, chunky version might just be my favourite yet. With a short rest in the fridge before baking, the dough firms up just enough to give you that perfect contrast. These chunky cookies have a golden, crunchy edge with a soft, chewy centre. The kind of cookie that’s just as good warm from the oven as it is the next day… If they last that long!
