What You Will Need
- 300g plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 113g unsalted butter, softened
- 250g white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 bag of Dollar Sweets 100s & 1000s
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
How To Make It
Step One: Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Step Two: Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the butter and white sugar until light and fluffy.
Step Three: Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mix well.
Step Four: Add the flour mixture, mixing on low until just combined.
Step Five: Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
Step Six: Preheat oven to 160°C. Line baking trays with baking paper.
Step Seven: Place the icing sugar and 100s & 1000s in seperate bowls.
Step Eight: Roll one tablespoon of chilled cookie dough into balls. Then roll each dough ball in the 100s & 1000s, making sure to coat thoroughly.
Step Nine: Roll each 100 & 1000s coated dough ball in the icing sugar, making sure to coat thoroughly.
Step Ten: Place the cookies on the prepared baking trays, 5cm apart.
Step Eleven: Bake for 14 to 18 minutes, until the edges are golden.
Step Twelve: Let the cookies cool on the baking tray for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
